For the past three years, BSTU and the Embassy of Mongolia to the Republic of Belarus have enjoyed fruitful cooperation, with many initiatives enriching both institutions. Among the most notable achievements was a course of lectures on Mongolian book culture, delivered by leading experts including Enkhbat Munkhtsetseg, researcher at the Institute of Literature and Language of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. “Students and faculty of BSTU were granted a unique opportunity to attend lectures by top Mongolian scholars,” emphasized Dean Alexey Domorad.

A highlight of the conference was the presentation of the first Belarusian edition of “Secret Saga of the Mongols”, a legendary literary masterpiece translated by Associate Professor Vladimir Kulikovich, who also contributed as the concept designer of the publication. The edition sparked keen interest among scholars and students alike. “The book helped me to delve into history and realize that people of Belarus and Mongolia are of one mind, even though they belong to different ethnic groups. The book discovered the real Mongolia to us,” reflected Kulikovich.

The event was graced by Batsukh Bayarsaikhan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Belarus, who personally expressed his gratitude to Vladimir Kulikovich for his contribution to promoting Mongolian culture in Belarus.
