BSTU Kicks Off Minsk Scientific Readings-2024

VII International Scientific and Technical Conference “Minsk Scientific Readings-2024” started on December 3, 2024. The key topic of this year conference is improvement of the quality of life and competitive ability of economy through innovative educational and research developments.

The event was co-organized by Belarusian State Technological University and Rossotrudnichestvo Office in Belarus and widely supported by international organizations, governmental bodies and committees. ?

More than 200 speakers from 9 countries (Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, China, Poland) will contribute to the event.

The conference participants will come together to discuss such current issues?as improvement of living standards, boosting of economic competitiveness through innovation and research, new technology trends, global and national achievements of education, science, industry and innovation.

The conference will also feature a session of innovative projects proposed by young scientists and students. ?

The key topic areas of “Minsk Scientific Readings-2024” will cover import-substitution technology, economic security and competitive ability, IT and cybersecurity, green energy, hydrogen and nuclear power, new energy technologies, recycling of secondary and renewable resources, zero carbon emissions, climate change. The education and science experts will discuss a common educational area of the Union State, drafting of Science and Technology Programs of the Union State, implementation of national projects of Russian and CIS member states.?

The conference will embrace four sessions:

Session I “Information and communication technology as a driving factor of economy. Development of digital economy”

Session II “Improvement of the quality of life and competitive ability through innovation technology, materials and substances, including additive technology and dual-purpose technology, polymer, composite and nanomaterials, nature-like technology and biotechnology, machine-building and unmanned vehicles”?

Session III “Power technology and green power, nuclear power and innovative energy-saving methods, new renewable and portable energy sources. Environmental safety and nature conservation, zero carbon emissions”.

Session IV “Youth projects session. Contest of innovative projects of young scientists and students”.

On the final day of the event, experts will join a round table discussion dedicated to data economy and digital transformation in EAEU countries.
